The Cutter Suction Dredger (CSD) is one of the most widely used and comprehensive dredging solutions in the industry today. This versatile equipment integrates excavation (cutting), suction, and discharge functions, enabling continuous and efficient operation in various underwater conditions. It serves as core equipment for large-scale projects including river dredging, port construction, and land reclamation.

1. Positioning: Lower the main positioning pile to fix the ship position.
2. Lower the bridge: Lower the bridge with the reamer head to the predetermined excavation depth.
3. Start the system: Start the mud pump and reamer drive.
4. Transverse excavation: By retracting and releasing the transverse anchor cable, the hull swings left and right around the positioning pile. During the swinging process, the rotating reamer head cuts the bottom material, and the mud pump sucks it in simultaneously.
5. Forward feed: After completing excavation of a fan-shaped strip, retract the positioning pile and use a winch or thruster to move the entire ship forward.
6. Repeat operation: Repeat steps 2-5 until the entire operation area is completed.
7. Mud transportation: The sucked mud is continuously transported to the discharge point through the mud discharge pipeline.
